This Quince Jelly has a very special, unsurpassed, sweet taste. To make it, we have to do a lot of hard work! The (mostly stone-hard) fruits have to be cut in pieces, for which we use a Dutch cheese-knife, to be able to cut with more power. After this, the elder sisters can cut them in little pieces. We juice the quince-parts in a steam-extractor and cook this juice slowly, together wit the sugar, to get a really delicious jam.Very good in yoghurt, or with soft cheese or cottage cheese. But also tasty at a slice of bread or a pancake.
